DAMEC will encourage, develop and direct political and educational activities.

MISSION

Contribute to developing the best political, economic and social life of the Dominican Americans in the United States of America.

PURPUSE

The purpose of the DOMINICAN AMERICAN EMPOWERMENT COUNCIL INC (DAMEC)is developing a non-partisan grass rooted political movement to ensure political representation and participation for the Dominican American community.

PRINCIPAL GOALS 

• To support and promote Dominican American Candidates,
• Promote candidates who support the empowerment and develop our Mission as Dominican American community,
• To raise public awareness about the need of political representation of the Dominican Americans,
• To develop leadership training for young professionals Dominican Americans and to ensure their political participation in the political arena,

• To encourage members and supporters of the DOMINICAN AMERICAN EMPOWERMENT COUNCIL INC (DAMEC) to participate in the political process of their communities. 

• To advance DAMEC’s purposes by building relationships with other groups and organizations, contributing to a better environment in the community.
